Bio

Since joining Barnard Iglitzin & Lavitt, Gabe has represented private- and public-sector unions before courts, administrative bodies, and in arbitrations, and provided advice in collective bargaining, internal governance, and other matters. He has also provided political organizations and other clients counsel in a variety of settings.

Gabe earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School. During law school, Gabe was a legal extern at the U.S. Department of Labor Office of the Solicitor in Boston, the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, and a presidential campaign. He also served as a law clerk at the Service Employees International Union in Washington, DC, and at Barnard Iglitzin & Lavitt through the Peggy Browning Fund. Gabe is a grateful past recipient of a Michael Weiner Scholarship for Labor Studies from the Major League Baseball Players Association.

Prior to law school, Gabe worked as a union organizer with higher education and health care locals. He also worked on political campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels, and at a national environmental organization. His practice is informed every day by his experiences as an organizer.
